I hate to sound negative, because I absolutely abhor animal abuse, but sometimes, like people, animals just snap.
I saw a dog that I had known since they were a puppy, for no reason, suddenly go crazy and start attacking a child. I know that dog had never been anything but loved and cared for. So yes, it’s often owners, but sometimes an animal just goes off.
